Bay filly out of Tremelo Pointe 3rd April 2014

Tremelo Pointe, owned by Lord Margadale and James Dean,  had a bay filly on 3rd April at 11.35pm.  The 8th foal to be born at the stud out of 11.  The sire is Showcasing who stands at Whitsbury Stud and is the record-breaking son of Oasis Dream and higher rated at 2 than his half-brother, successful young sire Camacho

Chesnut colt out of Glencal 8th March 2014

Glencal, jointly owned by Lord Margadale and Graham Doyle, gave birth to a strong and well made colt on 8th March.  The sire,  Foxwedge, stands his northern hemisphere season at Whitsbury Manor stud and was a Group 1 winning Australian sprinter by champion sire Fastnet Rock.

Bay filly out of Casterossa 3rd March 2014

Casterossa, owned by David Barrie, had a bay filly foal on 3rd March.  Her sire, Alkaased, won a French Group 1 in June 2005 followed by the Japan Cup later that year before being retired to stud.

Garden Opening Sunday 8th June 2014

Fonthill House is opening up their gardens to the public on Sunday 8th June 2014 in aid of the local churches. The gates will open at 2pm and will remain open until 6pm.  The prices are £6 per adult and children under 12 years go free.  Dogs are permitted if on leads.  There will be church stalls and refreshments.  All gate receipts donated to our local churches. Garden Opening March 2014

 We had a tricky day for our garden opening on 23/3/14 but a very intrepid crowd appeared and thanks to them we raised £1750 to send to the National Garden Scheme! Matt Hutchinson and his team waved their wands to have the gardens looking immaculate and  Lauren and James almost sold out of Lauren’s delicious cakes. I feel a recipe book coming on next year!
